"The MCs are Rachel Kaly, Daniel Maseda, Peetie McCook, Regen Routman and Willie Zabar. They spent the summer embracing their demons. Their fans are all blood relatives and they advise freshmen to remember where they come from, kids. If they were a class they’d be under enrolled. Their next show is Saturday at 8pm in the Nics Lounge."
"VEEBLEFETZER aka Matthew Stein, Angus Macdonald, Sophie Breitbart, Matt Chilton, Josh Davidoff, Ben Klausner and Beck Zegans have been called "That Shmaltzy Band That Plays Jewish Square Dance Music.” They sound like Romanian folk music /1980s downtown NYC and can’t wait to hpil muzik far di gantse velt! Their favorite campus meal is break fast after Yom Kippur in the DFC and started in 2012 when a lone fiddler started playing some freylekhs in the middle of the CFA. Their next show is October 9th with Steve Weintraub leading Yiddish dancing."
"SLAVEI aka Theo Sullivan, Torie White, Arian Dehnow, Susanna Greenblatt, Nadja Shannon-Dabek, Cassie Willson, Adam Ruth, Ella Caplin, and Elliot Williams spent the summer on their goldman saxx internships. They’re from Saratoga Springs, NY, San Rafael, CA, Mountain View, CA, etc. and can’t wait to have a supra. Their best lyric is you should marry the baker; he has the biggest loaf and will be around forever. Their fans are devoted and they pregame exclusively with Carlo Rossi. If they were a class they’d be Fitness, Beginning and they claim to be known as "Connecticut’s Hottest A Capella Group."
"SAD aka Chris Sailor, Delilah Seligman, and Becca Hanschell sound like Dinosaur Jr., Sunny Day Real Estate, and The World Is a Beautiful Place. Their best lyric is GET THE FUCK AWAY and their fans are v emo. If they were a class at Wesleyan they’d be Existentialism 101 but they’ve been called the next Joy Division. Their one piece of advice for freshmen is don’t."
"5 GUYS aka Angus Macdonald, Leo Grossman, Ethan Hill, Nick Selden, and David Whitney spent the summer in Brooklyn on Mommy’s Debit Card and can’t wait to go to 6 Flags New England for Nick’s birthday, September 19th. Their best lyric is Suzie Lee, get out of bed / The NSA is in my head / They Wanna put me in an air-conditioning machine.They might be the next Alanis Morissette but they sound a lot like Imagine Dragons x Miles Davis. They started in 2008 when they all attended the same rock n roll summer camp and rehearse almost never. If they were a class at Wesleyan they’d be History of the Middle East but most people call them Wesleyan’s Sinead O’Connor. Their last MASH was potatoes."

"JAL is Sahil Singhvi. He spent the summer working and performing at open mics in Chicago. He’s the next Yung Thug and can’t wait to drop his album.
